Complex
Back and Spine problems are understood to include a variety of problems
of the structural and neurological components of the back. In general,
these involve impairment of spinal cord function secondary to trauma or
intrinsic disease process (e.g. syringomyelia). This includes the management
of patients in the spinal cord care units as well as the ongoing rehabilitation
of patients with spinal cord injuries.
